We came to Strides when my daughter - 4th grader at the time - was not responding well to home-schooling. We had literally taken a break for most of the school year. We finally decided it was time to try to catch up or we had to redo the 4th grade. We only had a few months before the final chance to take the yearend assessment. We were in a very desperate situation and every company that we called had refused to take on the challenge. Dr. Everett took a thorough assessment and immediately created an action plan and gave us hope that passing to the next grade was possible! We were very pleased with her dedication to our daughter’s success. With her help and Miss Heather’s help our daughter took her yearend assessment and passed on to 5th grade successfully!! We couldn’t be happier. They really performed above and beyond our expectations in all aspects including their patience, use of strategies when our daughter had a tendency to loose her focus, flexibility in scheduling,… We highly recommend Strides while we would also go back to them any time that we may need extra help.

Dr Everet and the tutors at Strides have been amazing! We’ve used their services for two of my children, almost 10 years apart, and it is still the high quality teaching we had come to expect. My daughter is now 18 and excelling in literature, despite her dyslexia. My son is 10 and he has gained a love for reading through his time with Ms Ellen, his tutor. He has improved dramatically and more importantly, he doesn’t resist learning anymore. He looks forward to his lessons and is enthusiastic (most of the time) during his time with Ms Ellen. She has done a great job keeping him engaged and positive. I highly recommend Strides and have seen firsthand the impact it can have on a struggling reader.

I am very grateful for Strides, my daughter was struggling with math and reading due to a learning disability and we received help when we need it the most. Strides provides an excellent tutoring and support services at an affordable cost.
STRIDES has been such a blessing for our family! Our youngest daughter has really struggled to pick up on reading and was several grade levels below where she should be. In just this one school year she has come up to grade level and is so much more confident and encouraged!
Strides helps children improve their reading grade level in a few short months. Having been trained as a tutor, I witnessed improvement firsthand and parents gratefulness when I worked with Strides.
I am so thankful for Strides Tutoring. My daughter went from not being able to read to not putting a book down. It has been 4 years since she started at Strides. Her favorite thing to do is read. She reads just about anything she can get her hands on. The tutors that have worked with her over the years have done a fantastic job. I am so amazed how far she has come. When she started with Strides she was 11 years old and could not read despite everything we had tried. Now at 14 years old she is reading at a 7th grade level.
